Requirements:
Structural steel floors suspended between new & existing cast
iron columns, serviced by an open plan, mild steel carriage beam staircase
complete with radius landings and specially designed balustrade.

These works were carried out to a listed building. All external walls
were preserved as were the cast iron support columns. All existing
floor supports were removed and replaced with steel members. A steel
stair along with balustrade was fabricated off-site in small sections
for ease of installation as specified by the design team.
JAKO Fabrications completed these works on schedule, fulfilling
all expectations of both client and contractor. |
